Web 2.0 Tools Technology Action Plan

 

 Summary: Based on the Alabama Continuous Improvement Plan (ACIP) for RBMS and the technology strategic plan from the principal to the teachers and students, the following goals are to lead the school in the integration of Web 2.0 tools in the classrooms. For this reason, the school needs to align with Alabama Digital Literacy Standards and Alabama Course of Study to increase student learning, it is important that these issues are addressed in the action plan, professional development (PD), and Professional Learning Community (PLC), and evaluation strategies.

 Goal: The overall goal of RBMS is to promote equality and engagement among all students in the classrooms. With the support of the school administrators, teachers will incorporate multiple strategies and  a variety of approaches and techniques in their classrooms using Web 2.0 tools to increase student learning and progress.

 

  •  Objective: School administrators and teachers will implement technology and Web 2.0 tools to support the development, management, and integration.
  •  Objective: Integrate technology to enhance the core curriculum and high-impact strategies within the classrooms.
  •  Objective: Integrate technology to improve and maintain increased rigorous lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Objective: Provide continuous professional development for teachers in the use of instruction.
  • Objective: Provide technology and Web 2.0 tools including new ones for teachers and students to enhance effective academic learning.

  1. Consider using Google Drive and Google Classroom as curriculum management tools to help reach the first three objectives.

  2. Love this! You did a great job of laying it all out and presenting your purpose. I like that you plan to utilize PD for helping your teachers be able to better integrate this. You might also allow walk-throughs for teachers to observe others as they get better at implementing it effectively.
